This summer I was lucky enough to take a trip to Hong Kong and Vietnam. My daughter is now living in Hong Kong. She is my adopted daughter from Vietnam. She wanted to show me the county of her birth. It was a great trip. Here is a picture of my daughter and me with a Japenese father and his son after the tour of the Cu Chi Tunnels near the former Saigon. - Technology was the way I was able to stay in touch with family and friends while I was there. It was nice to be able to access my e-mail - to send daily journals and photos of my trip. My family and friends could stay in touch with me also.
I have sent pictures of my trip using my Flickr account. This site has been easy for everyone to access. In addition I am able to use Skype and my video cam to stay in touch with my daughter no matter where in the world she is. She is a flight attendant for a private company and flies all over the world. What a way to stay in touch! - I am active in our local theatre. I am able to go on-line and find the music I want to use for productions and download the music to a CD. WOW!
I appreciate the opportunity that AISD has given us to learn more about the technology that is out there for us to access. This has been a fun project. Stay tuned, Cindy
